Having lost my parents early, I had a huge desire to know more about my family.  My "Rogers" grandparents died long before I was born in a tragic car accident and the  Pitcher grandparents died scarcely a month after I was born. Losing my father when I  was nine and my mom when I was barely 20 I found I needed to keep them alive in my  mind and heart. And our then, little family tree became an obsession. As I research  an individual they become real, their personality developes and I feel like I know  them.

The stories I have heard when I was child, need to be saved, and told. So I have  compiled volumes of information I want to share with the rest of my family. Tribal  pages allows me to do this. Although it may take years to document everything, (I  have huge volumes) I feel it is important now to share what I can. Should you have  corrections, names, dates, memories to share please do so.

This is not "my story" it is "our story" and I hope all of you will contribute to our  legacy. I am proud of our family and as you get to know them, you will be too.
